Anna Fitzgerald [Producer, Playwright | OLYMPIA] is a theater-maker and theater-educator based in San Diego, CA. She recently graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Linguistics and Language Theory. Some of Anna’s favorite theatrical roles include the conniving Beadle Bamford in SWEENEY TODD, the maid-of-all-work Ruth in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and the powerful Portia in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.
She co-founded the production company ANNA + MARVIN alongside fellow collaborator Marvin Merritt IV. The artistic duo most recently staged Rajiv Joseph’s GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES in an oceanfront cottage on Deer Isle in January 2021.
